The community-based primary prevention approach developed by Raising Voices is being used by a variety of organizations throughout the Horn, East and Southern Africa. Two organizations at the forefront pioneering this approach are:

Center for Domestic Violence Prevention in Uganda
and
Kivulini Women's Rights Organization in Tanzania.

The approach is documented in Mobilizing Communities to Prevent Domestic Violence: A Resource Guide for Organizations in East and Southern Africa. It emphasizes the need to facilitate both individual and social change by engaging a broad cross section of community members to prevent domestic violence. The approach is based on the guiding principles.

There is also a Training Video for organizations interested in learning more about the approach. Read more about it here.
