Janet Nakuti, more commonly known as "Mama SASA!" due to her unwavering dedication to the SASA! approach, is a Technical Manager in the Learning Team responsible for monitoring and learning. She coordinates research collaborations, manages iterative learning and knowledge integration for both Violence Against Women and Violence against Children Prevention Teams. She also provides technical assistance on learning and assessment globally for partners using the different prevention methodologies. She has a Bachelor’s Degree from Makerere University in Sociology. Before joining Raising Voices, she worked with Save the Children, UPHOLD, the Ministry of Health and Creative Research and Evaluation. Janet is passionate about relationship building, a skill that has lead to much success in her career. As a feminist, wife and mother, her dream is to support and inspire activism right from her household by fostering the values of non-violence, respect and non-discrimination at every opportunity.
