Gabriella is a Technical Advisor in the Violence Against Women Prevention Team at Raising Voices. She provides training and technical support to partners all over the world who are interested to use the SASA! approaches as part of their efforts to prevent violence against women and girls. Prior to joining Raising Voices, Gabriella held several technical advisory roles with organizations focused on the rights and well-being of adolescent girls and young women, including Plan International UK, the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts, and the Lesotho National Council of Women. She holds a master’s degree in Education, Gender, and International Development from the UCL Institute of Education and a Bachelor’s Degree from Yale University. Originally from New York, Gabriella has bounced around a lot and is happy to have found a community at Raising Voices. She enjoys contemporary dance and yoga, reading, and learning from other feminist activists.
