SASA! Together Cohort for Organizations Proving Technical Assistance
Raising Voices is supporting five international non-governmental organizations and United Nations agencies to build their internal capacity to roll out SASA! Together. Raising Voices is providing training and technical assistance to about 30 staff members working in 13 countries in Africa and Asia from Norwegian Church Aid, the International Rescue Committee, CARE-Uganda, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and the United Nations Population Fund. Partnerships with these agencies provide an opportunity to significantly expand the reach of SASA! Together and to promote cross-learning within the cohort.
Despite not being able to conduct in-person trainings or technical assistance meetings due to COVID-19–related safety precautions and travel restrictions, Raising Voices has adapted SASA! Together trainings for online audiences. This has been a great way to ensure the staff of organizations in the cohort continue to receive the support they need to roll out their SASA! Together programs. Because of this support, partners are now adapting SASA! Together materials to suit their contexts and have started to implement SASA! Together in their communities.
