Dorah Kiconco Musinguzi, Senior Technical Advisor in the Violence against Women Prevention team, is leading Raising Voices’ engagement on What Works 2. She is a feminist, and enthusiast for women’s justice and well-being with over 15-years of experience in the VAW prevention field. As a lawyer, human rights practitioner and an ardent protagonist for social change, Dorah is an active member of the women’s movement in Uganda. She was the Executive Director for UGANET for over 10 years, a social justice organization that mobilizes communities for human rights and gender justice. At UGANET, Dorah designed and led programs and advocacy campaigns for law reform, VAWG prevention and response. Dorah is specifically intrigued by the generation and utilization of evidence, the law, legal tools, and well-being and wellness strategies as core frameworks for women’s and girl’s transformation at personal, community and societal levels. She’s a passionate advocate for every woman and girl, everywhere, and for every human being to realize their potential and dignity.
