Hassan Sonko Sulayiman is a Technical Manager for Learning, Monitoring and Evaluation on the Learning team at Raising Voices. He contributes to strengthening learning systems by supporting monitoring, evaluation, data management, research and evidence generation to inform programme quality and organizational learning. Hassan holds a Diploma in Computer Science from Kyambogo University and a Bachelor's degree in Public Administration from the Islamic University in Uganda (IUIU). He has a broad background in learning, monitoring and evaluation, enabling him to integrate technology, data and evidence to strengthen programme monitoring, analysis and informed decision-making. His areas of expertise include monitoring and evaluation, data collection and management, quantitative and qualitative research, data quality assurance, digital data systems, knowledge management, results measurement and learning. He is passionate about translating data into practical insights that improve programme effectiveness and strengthen evidence-based decision-making. Before joining Raising Voices, Hassan worked on monitoring, evaluation and research assignments with civil society and community-based organizations, supporting programme implementation, assessments and learning across development initiatives. Outside work, Hassan enjoys exploring emerging technologies, strengthening his research and analytical skills, and mentoring others in data management and monitoring and evaluation. He believes that quality evidence and continuous learning are essential for creating lasting social change.
