Jessica Mandanda is an Advocacy Communications Specialist and a radical African feminist. She holds the role of Technical Communications Manager at Raising Voices, under the OSS department. She previously worked as Communications and Campaigns Lead with For Equality Africa (FE), and Strategic Communications Advisor for the Feminist Macroeconomic Alliance Malawi (FEAM). Her expertise includes strategic communications and campaigning, digital media management, advocacy marketing, content creation for advocacy and activism. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism and Mass Communication, a Post Graduate Diploma in International Gender Studies and a Master’s Degree in Public Advocacy and Activism. She is a Published writer, specifically on African women’s rights, bodily autonomy and integrity, and a 2022 International Conference for Family Planning Youth Trailblazer Awardee.
