Leah is a feminist activist and researcher who supports the VAW Prevention team as a Technical Advisor. She is a doctoral candidate in Gender Studies with previous degrees focusing on human rights, psychology, and the environment. She has worked for and with a wide range of organizations in the gender justice space and has held leadership positions with the Coalition of Feminists for Social Change (COFEM) and the Society of Gender Professionals (SGP). When she is not working on social justice issues, she loves books, video games, hikes, and spending time with her partner, young (human) daughter, and elder (feline) daughter.
